Note: The German Rare Breeding Bird Survey coordinated by the Federation of German Avifaunists started in 1977 with six species. Since than species set continuously expanded. After 1990 the German Rare Breeding Bird Survey was combined with the monitoring programmes of the former German Democratic Republic.
